Hello There! I'm Bobbi
Welcome to our community. We are so happy you are here. You are a special part of this community. As you join our group we are enriched by your interests, insights and personality. Most importantly, this community is part of what makes CCL so special.
Please let me introduce myself, I am Bobbi Calkins. I grew up in a small town Michigan, splitting that time on the family farm also. Recently moved to Louisville Kentucky. I’m inspired by our personal stories and interests along with nature, architectural design and community.
Firstly, by blending home-keeping and home design skills I learned to create life as art. These skills from a childhood growing up surrounded by people of the land, their artistic endeavors and plenty of antiquing. Secondly, through sketching, exploring/traveling, and trying ideas I hope to convey we all can create a life that supports and delights us.
Married with an amazing blended family; we adopt charming retired greyhounds and affectionate golden retrievers. You can often find me with my hands in soil, creating in my studio, and finding an excuse to have another cup of coffee to enjoy the day. In addition, I speak, teach, and create all around the country. I embrace the many loves that have given me a medley of family, design, and love of daily moments. Likewise, connecting with women, sharing ideas, and teaching how-to create loving lives is one of my passions.

This platform is a creative community that has been designed to inspire, encourage and connect you with the beauty all around and within you. I believe we have created a beautiful and grace-filled space. A place where you will find easily accessible online classes and community with the occasional in-person workshop. This is a gathering place to explore and adventure into new ideas and activities with no judgment. This place is for all experience and age levels. It is a place to give yourself permission to try out dreams. Living a carefully curated life is about being present, showing up and being open to possibilities. While deciding what does not work for you along the way.
