Life as Art

I wanted to share this picture and quote by Helena Bonham Carter. As an illustration, it speaks to me about everyday life as art. Every day, we can celebrate our life in little ways. As I have said, it is “Loving the Ordinary.” I wish you all an extraordinary, lovely day.

Don’t you like what it says – “Everything in life is art.” We create art daily if we take the time for the ordinary moments. The cup we choose for tea or, as Helena Bonham Carter says, “how we drink it.” Do you take cream or lemon & honey? How else do you drink it? Standing up at the counter or a pause at the kitchen island looking out the window at the garden/bird feeder? How do you feel as the morning starts? I so enjoy this pause every morning to enjoy and be thankful for these things before the day begins.

But in all honesty ~ full disclose ~ wink ~ I like strong black coffee in my floral initial cup while I enjoy my morning. Also, I have a great cup of tea every afternoon as I end my work day.
